Alma Negra, Brut Nature Sparkling Rosé, Mendoza, Argentina
Tasting Note: A brut nature from Argentina that is the most beguiling color of sparkling rosé you’ve probably ever tasted along with an equally intriguing flavor profile.
Medium-intensity salmon-to-orange in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of strawberry, caramel, red currant and melon.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied brut rosé delivers flavors suggested on the nose along with red apple, red plum and raisin.
The wine is medium-plus in acidity and completes with a caramel-infused, medium finish.
The exact grape used in this blend remains a secret though it would not surprise me if chenin blanc was not part of the blend given some of the sparkling wine’s honeyed character that also carries hints of brioche.
Bottle Note: There has always been a mystery behind a mask. The seductive game of discovering “who is behind” is still celebrated today in parties, rituals and life. Paying tribute to that tradition we offer you this wine. A unique and mysterious blend made of Argentina’s best high-altitude grapes. Shy people beware. Behind the mask you may find the Alma Negra (black soul) of this wine, together with yours.
