Bernard Baudry, Les Grézeaux Chinon 2015, Loire, France
Tasting Note: Midpalate earthiness and just-ripened fruit combine in your glass to offer classic Chinon flavors that are comforting.
Medium-to-deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red-and-black plum, forest floor, pencil shavings, black tea and graphite.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied cabernet franc has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and slightly-grippy, medium-plus tannin.
There is midpalate complexity and depth of flavor.
