Bodega Septima, Malbec 2013, Mendoza, Argentina
Tasting Note: This is a solid Mendoza malbec that punches above its weight.
Ripe with inky-black-fruit richness and undertones of black currant and semi-sweet raisin, this malbec has thick legs and medium-plus body. You can taste the tannin on the attack which soften the longer the wine breathes in your glass.
Well-balanced acidity shows itself without being overpowering or underwhelming. Definitely a repeat bottle for me.
Bottle Note: The winery is located at the foot of the Andes Mountains in the prestigious region of Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza. This terroir offers optimum conditions to make high quality wines. Our Argentinean malbec stands our by its ripe plum notes. It is a complex wine with good balance and sweet tannin.
