Bodegas Del Palacio de Fefiñanes, Albariño de Fefiñanes 2017, Rías Baixas, Spain
Tasting Note: A Spanish-albariño brand that dependably delivers on the heavier side of the flavor spectrum for a vintage.
Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of grapefruit, banana peel, white-nectarine stonefruit, blossom and fresh-white rose petal.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied albariño has a round mouthfeel and delivers medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and a lemon-citrus-infused medium finish.
A hardy vintage but with less precision than the 2014 [LINK] vintage, and a more-muted flavor punch.
I enjoy this producer, most especially in warmer vintages.
