Tasting Note: An honorable, 30-year-old VORS Amontillado Sherry that has softened with time.

Medium-tending-towards-deep in color, this wine has a pronounced-intensity nose of freshly-baked brioche, butter, browned toast, baked almonds and walnuts with hints of leather.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied Amontillado has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose ultimately completing with a medium-plus-finish.

The wine is buttery and typical of Amontillado Sherry but with a slightly-restrained spirit.

The wine is elegant with a complex midpalate.

Bottle Note: Grape variety – Palomino. The aging of this wine has its origins in the Old Diez Hermanos Wineries founded in 1876. Its more than 30 years of aging in American oak casks, makes it a very special wine amber, slightly pungent aroma with hints of yeast and hazelnuts and aromas of vanilla, dried fruits and fine wood.
