Chalk Hill, Chardonnay 2018, Sonoma Coast, California
Tasting Note: A creamy, Sonoma-Coast chardonnay with a gentle, green-fruit character.
Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of golden apple, pear, and green plum with a hint of lemon-citrus zest.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied chardonnay has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose along with hints of vanilla baking spice supported by medium-minus acidity and completing with a long finish.
The midpalate is creamy and the flavors are well-integrated.
A substantial chardonnay that begs to be paired with food.
