Château de Monbazan 2016, Graves, France
Tasting Note: A light-hearted, uncomplicated white Bordeaux.
Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of green apple, pear, lemon-citrus zest and blossom.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied white Bordeaux delivers restrained green fruit suggested on the nose with a medium, blossom-infused finish.
The wine is medium-plus in acidity and is steely in texture.
There is balance between the acidity and fruit and some notes of mid-palate complexity.
