Tasting Note: Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has a medium-plus intensity nose of black plum, blackberry, red cherry, sage and mint.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied red blend is medium-plus in acidity with coarse, medium-plus tannin with flavors suggested on the nose continuing to the palate as flavors.
The wine completes with a medium finish and is very good in quality with midpalate complexity.
Drink now; has aging potential.
Bottle Note: Tannat 80%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20%. Terroir: Steep slopes with big pebbles, facing south/southwest. Warm and well drained soils which improves the grape ripening. Brown and red clays. Tasting Notes: Pleasant and deep wine, with soft red fruit coulis and fine tannins. Good balance, elegance and power. Food pairing: Beef ribs, lamb, duck breast, spicy oriental food.
