Cruzares, Castillo De Las Zarzas, Vino Tinto, Spain
Tasting Note: A simple, inexpensive, young, uncomplicated, tart, high-acid Spanish red.
Ruby in color, this red wine has a nose of bright red fruit including strawberry, raspberry and red cherry.
On the palate the light-bodied wine is high in acidity with a tart sour, under-ripe red cherry character across the entire length of the taste.
The wine doesn’t show any evidence of oak.
Would work well in a summer sangria especially for the price point.
