Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has a nose of macerated blackberry, red cherry, raspberry, mushroom, leather and violet blossom.

On the palate, the, full-bodied wine has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by ripe, slightly-grippy, medium-plus-tannin.
