Domaine Bousquet, Rosé 2018, Tupungato, Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina, Wine Casual

Domaine Bousquet, Rosé 2018, Tupungato, Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina

Tasting Note: This rosé has the most beautiful hue of salmon-peach color and shows the heights new-world rosés can reach.

Medium-intensity salmon in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of red cherry, strawberry, orange citrus and blossom.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied rosé delivers medium-intensity, red-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completes with a medium-plus finish.

There is balance between the fruit and floral structure.

The rosé has a bright, steely texture that refreshes the palate.

A rosé to repeat.

Bottle Note: 50% Malbec, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. Domaine Bousquet combines the know-how of French winemaking with Argentina’s exceptional climate and terroir. The vineyard is located at the foothills of the Andes, at 1200 m.a.s.l. Its thermal amplitude contributes to obtaining fully ripened grapes with an excellent acidity. The grapes are handpicked, and the vineyard is certified organic. This wine has fresh tropical fruit aromas, red fruits, and hints of plums and cherries with a fresh and crispy finish on the palate. This wine shows a remarkable youth and freshness. It is ideal for appetizers, seafood and Asian dishes.
