Domaine de Oliveira Lecestre, Fourchaume Chablis Premier Cru 2018, Burgundy, France
Tasting Note: A Chablis that presents a slightly-warmer vintage of the chardonnay grape.
Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of green apple, pear, starfruit, white nectarine and lemon zest with hints of pineapple.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied Chablis has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a medium-plus finish.
The wine has a slightly creamy texture even while being filled with bright green fruit.
A crowd-pleasing Chablis without the austerity of some steelier versions of the grape.
