Domaine de Quissat, 100 Pour 100 2016, Agenais, France
Tasting Note: A powerful merlot bathed in black fruit.
Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of black plum, blackberry, raspberry, violet and blossom.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied merlot displays ripe, yet restrained black fruit that pairs well with the velvety and grippy, high tannin.
There is flavor concentration and some mid-palate complexity.
The wine is an organically-produced blend of merlot (75%) and cabernet franc (25%).
Bottle Note: Anne-Marie & Remy Delouvrié.
