Tasting Note: An earthy Saumur Champigny with all the classic elements that you want and expect from the Loire.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red plum, forest floor, hay, raspberry, dried red cherry, black tea and violet blossom.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied Saumur Champigny has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose along with notes of pencil shavings supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium tannin.

The midpalate is complex and dusty with the earthiness that is Loire cabernet franc.
