Tasting Note: A reserved Loire cabernet franc that is tight and muted.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of black plum, rosehip, forest floor and dried violet petal.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied cabernet franc has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and medium tannin ultimately completing with a medium finish.

The wine is straightforward and is missing the some of the layered midpalate complexity that is characteristic of Loire cabernet franc.

There are better values in Saumur especially for the price point.
