Domaine Louis Jadot Chambolle-Musigny 2012 – Perfect if You Enjoy Acidity Without Much Chalk

Tasting Note: Medium-plus in acidity and body, this wine balances acidity and fruit and makes it major impact on the back of your tongue rather than on the nose.

Ruby colored leaning towards deep with a raspberry and a soft orange citrus nose, this red burgundy has pinot noir’s signature red cherry aromas which are emblematic of the style of the brand.

On the palate red fruit flavors start off in the lead but are overtaken mid-palate by acid through to the finish.

Compared to some of Louis Jadot’s other offerings, there is less chalk. If you enjoy acidity without much chalk, this would be a wine for you.
