Domaine Louis Jadot, Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru Clos Saint Jacques 2011, F21200, France
Tasting Note: A ruby-colored pinot noir that is pleasantly aromatic on the nose.
Red cherry, strawberry and black plum aromas abound. On the palate the wine is smooth with a light tannin feel.
Fruit aromas on the nose continue to the palate but as a singular unique blend rather than as a sum of its component parts. Medium acidity and chalk assert themselves on the finish and make themselves known but do not offend.
