Domaine Perrault-Jadaud, Les Grives Soûles Vouvray 2016, Loire, France
Tasting Note: An opulent Vouvray that abounds with elegance, structure and concentration.
Medium-intensity gold in color, this wine has a pronounced-intensity, aromatic nose of pear drop, quince, green apple, pineapple, elderflower and honeysuckle.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied chenin blanc is high in acidity with medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose.
The wine is slightly creamy in texture with bright fruit running throughout the length of the taste ultimately completing with a tart, lemon-citrus-infused, medium finish.
There is midpalate complexity, varietal typicity and depth of flavor.
Well-made deliciousness!
