Tasting Note: A cabernet franc that blends muted fruit, cedar and floral aromas into a delicious elixir.

Deep ruby to purple in color this wine has a nose of earthy red and black fruit, raspberry, black plum, violet and crushed dried rose petal along with some wet hay notes.

On the palate muted, just-ripened red and black fruit are followed immediately by young, dry cedar notes that characterize the mid-palate through to a medium finish that reveals some smokiness.

The wine is medium-plus in acidity and grippy tannin.

The wine displays mid-palate complexity along with tertiary barrel aging elements that show ahead of the wine’s fruit character.
