Domaine Sorin, Terra Amata Rosé 2015, Côtes de Provence, France

Tasting Note: A rosé that is a feast for the senses.

Salmon-pink with streaks of orange color, this aromatic wine has a nose of red cherry, raspberry and strawberry with notes of orange citrus.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied rosé is delicate with tart red fruit showing on the attack completing with a bright finish.

The wine is medium-plus in acidity and works well as a palate-cleanser or porch-side sipper as I am enjoying it this evening.

I particularly adore this rosé’s orange-infused shades of pink color which is accentuated when you hold your glass to the sun.
