Domaine Vincent Paris, Granit 30 Cornas 2016, Rhone, France
Tasting Note: This bottle captures those distinct Northern Rhone syrah aromas and flavors for which Cornas is known and in a plush, rustic-elegant style.
Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has a pronounced, aromatic nose of dried-crushed violet, blackberry, black plum, leather, raspberry puree, bacon fat, bramble and hints of vanilla baking spice.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied syrah is filled with concentrated, black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose underpinned by medium acidity and ripe, velvety, medium-plus tannin.
There is inky complexity in the midpalate and varietal typicity.
Let this bottle open in your glass to experience it in all its shades and hues.
