Dunham Cellars, Syrah 2014, Columbia Valley, Washington
Tasting Note: A seriously, supple and elegant syrah from Washington state that will make you go down the Washington-red-wine rabbit hole.
Deep-intensity purple in color this wine has a nose of black plum, bramble, blackberry and raspberry puree with hints of fig.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied syrah delivers supple, just-ripened, medium-plus-intensity, black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose along with some notes of leather and vanilla baking spice.
The wine is supported by medium acidity and ripe, well-integrated, medium-plus tannin.
There is midpalate complexity, flavor concentration and depth.
Delicious.
Bottle Note: A harmonious wine revealing Old World finesse with a New World core of rich fruit. Showcasing its pedigree and structure to age, this 100% syrah is blended from our finest vineyards.
