Tasting Note: Often carmenere presents overripe fruit; this carmenere sidesteps that trend and presents just-ripened red and black fruit elegantly balanced with acidity and tannin creating a unique and enjoyable expression of the grape varietal.

Deep purple in color this wine has an aromatic nose of wild raspberry, red currant, stewed prune, red plum, blackberry and vanilla and cinnamon baking spice.

On the attack red ripe fruit flavors are tempered by medium acidity and grainy, medium-plus tannin which kicks in midpalate completing with a slightly tart finish.

The wild, primal, and untamed character on the nose continues to the palate and makes the carmenere a pleasure to smell as much as it is to taste.

Bottle Note: Made with organically grown grapes. Sustainably farmed. Harnessing the pure energy of nature for exceptional wines. Dark chocolate, spiced currant, warm toffee. Premium and pure. It’s that simple. Natura wines are made from the purest grapes nature can provide and with the utmost respect for the environment so you can feel good about sharing and enjoying. Organic viticulture leads to a higher quality, better tasting wine that is most expressive of terroir, where the true character of the vineyards and grapes comes through. The most distinctive flavors emerge, resulting in remarkably unique and complex wines.
