Fall Creek Vineyards, Chardonnay 2019, Certenberg Vineyards, Texas Hill Country, Texas
Tasting Note: A substantial Texas chardonnay with a complex midpalate that delights the senses.
Medium-intensity gold in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of green pear, golden apple, peach stonefruit, orange zest, starfruit and blossom.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied chardonnay has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with an orange-citrus-led, medium-plus finish.
The wine is slightly creamy in texture with an intrinsic brightness.
A chardonnay of that type that you could serve at a party and everyone could find something they appreciate in it.
Bottle Note: The Terroir Reflection Series is a unique chance to experience wines which express the deepest interactions between vitis vinifera varieties and the specific vineyard. We are mere translators of the language of terroir as is speaks in the wines, so enjoy a world class wine on your table with the reflection of our treasured asset of the vineyard. This chardonnay from Certenberg Vineyard is a true expression of the cretaceous soil and the vines. The wine enjoyed fermenting in French oak barrels quietly developing for a year and has been sculpted thoughtfully by the hand of the winemaker into an eloquent wine.
