Bottle Note: A sturdy dornfelder with ripe, dark fruit and body.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of black plum, red currant, blueberry, raspberry and blossom.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied dornfelder has medium-plus-intensity, red-and-black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium tannin.

Some tart-fruit elements brighten the midpalate making it a pairing partner with a variety of dishes.

A good, straightforward dornfelder.
