Galer Estate, Cabernet Franc 2017, Chester County, Pennsylvania, Wine Casual

Galer Estate, Cabernet Franc 2017, Chester County, Pennsylvania

Tasting Note: Cabernet franc with varietal typicity and a figgy, stonefruit streak.

Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of black plum, raspberry, fig, peach stone fruit and violet blossom.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied cabernet franc has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by racy, medium-plus acidity that compliments the slightly-jammy, red-and-black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose.

The wine is medium in tannin and completes with a medium finish.
