Tasting Note: A fruit-filled chardonnay that tastes like a summer-orchard field.
Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus intensity nose of kiwi, lemon zest, white-nectarine and peach stonefruit.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied chardonnay has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a medium-plus finish.
Bottle Note: Blending nature, science & art. Single vineyard origin. Red Lion chardonnay vineyard – Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Blend: 100% chardonnay. Geology: Manor Loam, Glenelg Silt Series. Hand-harvested on September 19 and 20, 2017. Elevage: Whole cluster pressed and fermented in 100% stainless steel.
