George Descombes, Morgon 2016, Beaujolais, France
Tasting Note: A concentrated Morgon Cru Beaujolais that has a serious and playful side that showcases gamay produced in a Burgundian style.
Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has a medium-plus-intensity, aromatic nose of raspberry puree, peach stone fruit, blossom and violet.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied Morgon Beaujolais has slightly-grippy, medium-plus tannin.
