Herdade Do Esporão, Monte Velho 2017, Vinho Regional Alentejano, Portugal
Tasting Note: A bright, versatile white blend that has the qualities of the quintessential white wine you order with lunch in Portugal.
Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has a medium-plus-intensity nose of blossom, green apple, honeysuckle and green pear.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied white blend has medium-intensity green-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a medium finish.
The wine has a straightforward profile with nice green fruit and floral elements.
Bottle Note: This label design is inspired by the traditional Reguengos de Mosaraz’s “Mantas” (rugs or blankets) patterns. They are part of the cultural identity of the region where this handcraft has been made for centuries. Also following the region’s winemaking tradition, its diversity of grape varieties and vinification techniques, this wine reveals the typical character of the region: rich aromas, soft palate and excellent gastronomic aptitude. Antão Vaz 40%, Roupeiro 40%, Perrum 20%.
