Tasting Note: Alentejo wines remain under the radar which will benefit you when you look for it at the wine store like this concentrated red blend that would intrigue and impress a cabernet lover.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of blackberry, black plum, raspberry puree, red currant and violet blossom with hints of vanilla.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied red blend has medium-plus-intensity, black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium-plus tannin ultimately completing with a plummy, medium-plus finish.

There is midpalate complexity and substance.

Chill before serving so the wine remains in balance.
