Herdade do Rocim, Olho De Mocho Reserva Branco 2014, Vino Regional Alentejano, Portugal
Tasting Note: A white wine from Portugal that delivers green-and-yellow citrus fruit from the Antão Vaz grape.
Medium-intensity gold in color, this wine has medium-plus-intensity aromas of pear, orange and lemon zest, quince, and dried apricot.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied wine is medium in acidity with tart, green-and-citrus fruit flavors suggested on the nose.
The wine is slightly petillant with a medium finish is also infused with some flavor concentration.
Would pair well with poultry, seafood or popcorn as I’m enjoying tonight.
Bottle Note: Herdade do Rocim is located halfway from Cuba to Vidigueira, in the south of Portugal. On this land, with 70 ha of vineyard and our own wine cellar, this wine was thought and conceived with one purpose: to create a genuine taste and flavor reflecting our care, affection and knowledge. Olho de Mocho Reserva White 2014 was made with the best grapes of the 2014 vintage from the variety Antão Vaz.
