Heritage Estate, Shiraz Mourvedre Grenache 2018, Granite Belt, Queensland, Australia
Tasting Note: A shiraz-mourvedre-grenache blend with a smooth body and balance between its component parts.
Medium-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of blackberry, raspberry puree, dried violet blossom and black cherry with some notes of leather and tobacco.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied red blend has black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium tannin.
Bottle Note: From the brilliant 2018 vintage. 50% shiraz brings color and midpalate weight. 25% grenache brings its beautiful confectionery notes and fleshy fruit while the mourvedre joins in with its firm spicy tannin finish all wrapped in sweet French oak. From vineyard to table.
