Heron Hill, Dry Riesling 2013, Finger Lakes, New York
Tasting Note: Another winning riesling from the New York Finger Lakes.
Medium-intensity gold in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of green apple, pear, white blossom, honeysuckle and lime citrus.
On the palate the dry, slightly-petillant, medium-bodied riesling echoes flavors suggested on the nose along with medium-plus acidity and flavor intensity.
The riesling shows depth, midpalate complexity and balance between fruit and acidity.
Everything you want in a riesling from anywhere.
