Jacqueline Leonne, Méthode Champenoise Rosé, New Mexico
Tasting Note: A surprising find; but there’s no question this sparkler from New Mexico is both stunning and well-made.
Pink to salmon in color this wine has a vibrant nose of strawberry, apricot and orange citrus lifted by a chorus of tight bubbles emanating from the bottom of your glass.
On the palate the dry, light-to-medium-bodied pinot noir sparkler impresses with strawberry and bing-cherry flavors accented by hints of ripe stone fruit.
There are notes of midpalate complexity as the wine definitely travels from your fore-to-back plate with definite purpose.
A delicious sparkler that will stump your wine buddies.
Bottle Note: Jacqueline Leonne is an exceptional sparkling wine made in the true Methode Champenoise style. 100% pinot noir, this crisp, food-friendly wine is perfectly effervescent with lavender aromatics, berry flavors and a vivacious, refreshing finish. French inspired, American made.
