Tasting Note: Finally, a rosé with expressive cabernet franc character!

If you’ve had your fill of the volumes of characterless rosé on the market, let this wine reset your rosé expectations.

For those of you like me who adore Chinon, this savory rosé impresses like drinking a lighter-bodied version of its red-wine self.

Salmon to orange in color this wine has a nose of red plum and strawberry with some savory, wet-leaf notes.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied cabernet franc echoes the aromas on the nose along with wet forest floor, hay and a savoriness that evokes cedar.

The wine is soft in texture with medium acidity that hints of orange citrus on the finish.
