Joseph Drouhin, Beaujolais Nouveau 2016, Beaujolais, France
Tasting Note: A 2016 Beaujolais Nouveau filled with refreshing acidity and bright red-fruit flavors.
Deep purple in color this wine has a nose of red cherry and strawberry, with notes of cranberry and raspberry; it also has a somewhat floral nose.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied Beaujolais is medium-plus in acidity.
An easy-drinking, food-friendly red that’s simple and likeable.
Bottle Note: Passion and skill have been faithfully transmitted to the present fourth generation of the Drouhin family. The vinification of this wine reveals the elegance and true expression of the Beaujolais terroir. With its intensity and fresh fruit, Beaujolais is the festive wine par excellence. This is a unique bottle, to enjoy and to share.
