This is a flavorsome rum that stands out amongst rums for its flavor intensity, complexity of flavor and depth.

The spirit was aged in former bourbon casks and then finished in former cognac casks.

Medium-intensity amber in color, this spirit has a pronounced-intensity nose of vanilla, clove and cinnamon baking spice, dried orange peel, nutmeg, caramel and dried banana.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied rum delivers medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and smooth, medium-plus tannin.

The spirit has midpalate complexity that has also benefited from development.
