Kendric Vineyards, Pinot Noir 2014, Marin County, California
Tasting Note: A good, simple, midweek pinot noir.
Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has a medium-intensity, aromatic nose of strawberry, fresh red cherry and blossom.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied pinot noir is mostly straightforward in flavor profile and delivers just-ripened, red-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and soft, medium tannin.
Good in its dimension but lacking complexity to be very good.
