Kunstler, Spätburgunder Tradition Trocken 2010, Rheingau, Germany
Tasting Note: A pinot noir that shows the grape varietal’s aging potential in Germany.
Medium-intensity garnet in color, this wine has a nose of secondary aromas and red cherry with some vegetal notes.
The dry, medium-bodied pinot noir delivers red cherry suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity and medium-minus, well-integrated tannin.
The wine has a medium-plus finish.
The wine is good in quality because it captures the aging potential of pinot noir from this region.
Drink now; not suitable for aging.
Bottle Note: The soil consists of loess and heavy water storing clay. In this site are growing powerful, sustainable and bright shouldered pinots at very low yields with enormous aging potential.
