Lachini Vineyards, Pinot Noir Rosé 2016, Willamette Valley, Oregon
Tasting Note: A pinot noir rosé made in the heart of the Willamette Valley by a French winemaker that will transport you to the south of France.
Medium-intensity salmon in color this wine has a complex aromatic nose of strawberry, raspberry, white blossom and orange citrus peel.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied rosé is somewhat creamy in texture with fresh, red fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity that completes with a medium-plus finish.
Beautiful to gaze at in your glass and with midpalate complexity that stands shoulders above the morass of un-inspired rosés produced around the world.
Bright, gorgeous and horde-worthy.
Bottle Note: A refreshing and crisp rosé of pinot noir crafted entirely from our estate vineyard in Newberg, Oregon. It is off-dry in nature and is brimming with fresh fruit flavors that lean toward strawberry and cantaloupe. The acutely balanced acidity provides a perfect backdrop to many of the summer’s greatest food fare, grilled fish and Asian cuisine. Salute! Ron & Marianne.
