Lamblin & Fils, Cépage Chardonnay Bourgogne Blanc 2018, Burgundy, France
Tasting Note: A solid white Burgundy that leads with green fruit and completes with a hint of tangerine on the finish.
Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of green apple, pear, lemon citrus and starfruit with a hint of tangerine.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied white Burgundy has medium-intensity, green-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a lemon-citrus infused, medium-plus finish.
There are notes of midpalate complexity in the wine that is steely in texture.
A good bottle to open with friends because it is so varietally correct and pleasing in expression.
