Luna Austral, Malbec 2013, Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina
Tasting Note: Malbec that brings forward the spirit of the grape with all its ideal accents.
Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has a medium-plus-intensity, aromatic nose of black plum, blackberry, raspberry puree, black-currant essence and vanilla baking spice.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied malbec has concentrated, silky, black-fruit flavors with midpalate complexity that fills the back of your tongue.
Bottle Note: Limited edition 4,500 bottles. Our ultra-premium malbec comes from vines born and grown up under standards of Demeter International, in La Consulta, Uco Valley; plus the wonderful and sensible enological craftmanship of Alvaro Espinoza – named by Decanter Magazine 2015, “One of the world’s best winemakers according to their peers.”
