Tasting Note: Behold the lighter-styled, California red zinfandel.

Purple in color this zin has a nose of ripe jammy fruit and some clove and vanilla baking spice.

On the palate the wine is medium in body and tannin with some mid-palate complexity.

Bottle Note: M2 wines are created to fully express the character of the vineyard and the fruit of the vine. This wine comes from Wegat Vineyard, named after the first family to live on the site. These vines were planted in 1958 and the grapes grown there during the summer of 2013 were crafted into wine in September of that year.
