Tasting Note: An elegant Barbera from Italy’s Asti region where the grape shows its best.

Medium-intensity purple in color this aromatic wine has a nose of black cherry, black plum, kirsch with floral hints of blossom.

On the palate, the dry, medium-bodied wine expresses flavors suggested on the nose along with some subtle notes of smokiness.

The wine has a bright intensity of flavor in the midpalate bolstered by medium-plus acidity and ripe fruit.

Quite well made and enjoyable.
