Metz Road, Pinot Noir 2019, Riverview Vineyard, Monterrey, California
Tasting Note: A pinot noir abounding with layers of red-fruit and welcome complexity.
Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, pronounced-intensity nose of red cherry, rosehip, strawberry, red currant, red plum and cranberry.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied pinot noir, has medium-plus-intensity red-fruit flavor suggested on the nose supported by ripe, slightly-grippy, medium tannin ultimately completing with a long finish.
The wine has depth, complexity and an attractive earthy quality.
An elegant pinot noir.
