Meyer Jean Luc, Riesling 2014, Alsace, France
Tasting Note: A slightly-petillant riesling that abounds in green-fruit flavors.
Lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of tart-green fruit, quince and under-ripe pineapple.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied riesling delivers flavors suggested on the nose along with green apple and pear supported by angular, high acidity.
The wine completes with a long, lime-infused finish.
Bottle Note: A fine, dry wine, with aromas of citrus fruit, white flowers, and slightly mineral. Perfect served with fish, seafood and traditional dishes from Alsace, such as sauerkraut and baeckeoffe.
