Tasting Note: A sturdy zinfandel with some structure.

Purple in color this red wine has a nose of ripe blackberry in the traditional California-zin style.

There is also vanilla and clove baking spice.

On the palate the wine is medium bodied with some hardy medium-plus tannin.

This zinfandel was aged for 14 months in American oak.

Bottle Note: My temper’s my trial, my anger so vile. Can’t silence the violence, return of the wild. Incensed to irate, my fury’s my fate. The calm is now gone, consumed by hate. I’m raging with ire, and ocean on fire. My wrath is the path all I desire. – Kevin Phillips
