Michel Chapoutier, Les Vignes de Bila Haut Rosé 2017, IGP Pays d’Oc, France
Tasting Note: A rosé with body, summer-red fruit and enjoyable mid-palate complexity.
Medium-intensity salmon in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of red plum, rose petal, strawberry, orange-citrus peel and blossom.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied rosé presents bright, fruit-and-floral flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and additional notes of lemon citrus.
A rosé you can pair with many a meal and that has more personality than most.
Bottle Note: Roussillon, a land of legend and history. A place of contrasts too, much as Bila-Haut vines. This wine is fresh and well-balanced with citrus aromas and is a perfect match for summer recipes.
