Moorooduc Estate, Pinot Noir 2012, Mornington Peninsula, Australia , Wine Casual

Moorooduc Estate, Pinot Noir 2012, Mornington Peninsula, Australia

Tasting Note:
A straightforward, fruity pinot noir.

Ruby in color, this wine has a nose of red fruit including strawberry and Cherry Coke with some citrus notes.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied pinot noir is soft with a somewhat grainy texture.

The wine is medium in acidity and tannin.

Bottle Note: Our wines are made from grapes grown on four mature vineyards in the same subregion of the Mornington Peninsula. Estate control of the viticulture ensures that the wines express the character of these Moorooduc Vineyards. This pinot noir from three Moordooduc Vineyards on the Mornington Peninsula was made using simple, natural winemaking (with a pinch of quality control), including wild yeast fermentation.
