Naumes Family Vineyards, Pinot Noir 2017, Rogue Valley, Oregon
Tasting Note: A Rogue-Valley, Oregon pinot noir with reserved, just-ripened fruit and a hint of the old world.
Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of black cherry, black plum, strawberry, cranberry and rosehip with hints of forest floor.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied pinot noir has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-acidity and ripe, medium tannin ultimately completing with a medium finish.
The midpalate is mostly straightforward with some punctuated moments of florality rising to the top.
A delicate pinot noir.
